Nominations open for NACR board positions!

We are excited to announce that the Native American Collections Roundtable is accepting nominations for three open board positions: Fundraising Coordinator, Scholarship Coordinator, and Outreach and Media Coordinator.

Nominations are open to anyone interested in the ethical stewardship of Indigenous collections.

Fundraising Coordinator (June 2024-June 2026)
– Coordinates our Annual Silent Auction held at the Northwest Archivists Annual Meeting
– Serves as NACR liaison to the Northwest Archivists Treasurer
– Reports out on status of funds

Scholarship Coordinator (June 2024-June 2026)
– Coordinates the NACR scholarship application and distribution process
– Determines number of scholarships offered and amount
– Selects 2 other people to serve on scholarship review
– Works with Outreach Coordinator to promote scholarship and recognize recipients

Outreach and Media Coordinator (June 2024-June 2025)
– Manages the NACR web presence, including website and social media
– Initiates and coordinates NACR outreach efforts
